This past week was part of a larger campaign launched by the European Commission and designated as « EU Green Week ».
The Sustainable Value Hub’s founder contacted Ellen Wasylina, and invited her to speak at two events.
The first event on June 6 was entitled « Sustainable Investments in Azerbaijan : Building Pathways for Collaboration and Growth » and was moderated by TV presenter , María Ramos. Ambassador Vaqif Sadiqov, head of mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, opened the session with his welcoming remarks.
During this panel, Ellen Wasylina had the opportunity to speak about sustainable investments and pointed out three areas where Azerbaijan should invest : in renewable energies, in R & D, in digitalisation and in Education, referring to the recent Green Economy Forum that she co-organised in 2022 around three key areas : Recycling, Renewable Energies and Agriculture.
The second event was held at the Press Club on June 7 and was entitled, « Skills for the Green Transition : Challenges, Opportunities and Best practices for youth ». In this panel, Ellen shared her perspective of a seasoned business executive and entrepreneur , and from an educator’s point of view and explained why she founded the Trocadéro Forum Institute, to train the next generation of leaders in Sustainable Leadership and (cultural) Diplomacy.
