Here’s a look back at our French Riviera Retreat đꦩ

Thank you for joining us July 22-24 for our first French Riviera Retreat in beautiful Hyères , the oldest beach resort in France.

Here is a photo gallery of several highlights of our two-day French Riviera Retreat 🦩

Welcome cocktail by the pool at the Mercure hotel, with presentations by Catherine PASSAQUET of TVT Innovation , the incubator that TFI will integrate on September 2nd; and Gustav Magnusson who presented his opus “Keynote conversations : reinventing the city”

Day 1 : the morning session was dedicated to the geopolitical , geoeconomic situation in the Mediterranean Sea Bassin , led by Professor Dr. Nursin Atesoglu GĂĽney, Ambassador Shota Gvineria, Carole Grimaud and Franck Paoli.
Our delicious lunch was served on the terrace, giving us ample time to continue our morning panel discussions .

The afternoon session was on the role of women in Peacebuilding in Afghanistan, with H.E. Omar Samad calling in from Washington, D.C. , followed by Professor Dr. Visne Korkmaz, who spoke on women in international relations and research , and finally Anne-Charlotte Joubert presented HerFund , a project to support and nurture women entrepreneurs..

After a full day of discussions , we headed to the nearby Figuières Winery, to taste their organic wines , followed by a lovely dinner of grilled fish prepared by Chef Sébastien Liégeard.

Day 2 : the discussion was on Sustainable and Resilient cities, with Stephanie Chaltiel joining us online from Barcelona, Professor Dr. GĂĽney Ă–zcebe joining us from Ankara, Bruno Mweemba from Lusaka, with Gustav Magnusson in the room , speaking as an urban planner , guiding the conversations as a moderator .

Visit to TVT Innovation : after our Retreat 🦩, we went to visit the incubator where TFI will soon have a presence .
