Short bio :

Kamran Bokhari, PhD, is an internationally renowned strategic forecaster and geopolitical analyst focused on Eurasia. Dr. Bokhari is a senior resident fellow at the Middle East Policy Council and a Senior Director at the New Lines Institute for Strategy & Policy in Washington, DC, which he helped found and where he established its Graduate Program in Strategy & Policy, teaching three seminars there:Strategic Analysis in an Interconnected World, Analytical Development, and The Global Architecture. Bokhari also teaches Central Asia & Eurasian Geopolitics at Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program, the Geopolitics of the Middle East at the University of Delaware, and Islam & Geopolitics at George Mason University’s Schar School of Public Policy. He writes a weekly essay for Geopolitical Futures and is a regular Forbes columnist. Dr. Bokhari previously served as Central Asia Studies Coordinator at the U.S. State Department’s National Foreign Affairs Training Center and brings 15+ years of experience in private-sector intelligence, providing intellectual leadership in developing predictive geostrategic products and services.
